To Our Valued Patients:
At Huntley Physical Therapy, the health and safety of our patients is always our top priority. Amid the growing concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we wanted to keep you informed about the additional steps we are taking to ensure your and our staff’s health and wellness. This is an evolving situation that we are monitoring closely to ensure all proper precautions are taken to make your therapy at Huntley Physical Therapy a safe place for you and our team.
In addition to our regular cleaning practices, we are elevating our procedures to keep our clinics a safe and welcoming space for patients and staff.

In addition to our regular cleaning practices, we are elevating our procedures to keep our clinics a safe and welcoming space for patients and staff.
- We have increased the frequency of wiping down the equipment and treatment tables after each use as well as keyboards, doorknobs, and desk top surfaces.
- We have encouraged staff to communicate with patients and each other in a proactive stance and respond to clinical signs and symptoms of the virus.
- We are encouraging all patients and staff to wash your hands BEFORE and AFTER your therapy with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- As appropriate, we will use sanitary gloves for any hands on / manual therapy.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then discard the tissue in the trash.
- If you are not feeling well contact the office about rescheduling your next appointment. Our cancellation policy will gladly be waived for illness related cancellations.
We will continue to keep our clinics open and will be ready to serve our patients.
Additionally, to assist with the social distancing recommendations that have been provided by the CDC, starting this week, we will also be offering a telemedicine option for those patients that are appropriate. While a telemedicine visit with your physical therapist won’t be able to incorporate the hands on techniques that you may be used to during your session, we will still be able to provide you with appropriate exercise recommendations and guidance in management of your symptoms, in order to keep your rehab goals a priority. Telemedicine physical therapy services are not covered by all insurance companies, but we will be offering a self pay rate for these services to provide our patients with options that they can be comfortable with during this time.

This clinic was started with one thing in mind. To treat the whole person the way everyone deserves to be treated…the best way possible! For that reason you will only be seen by a licensed physical therapist when you come to Huntley Physical Therapy Inc. and you will receive that therapist’s full undivided attention. Because we don’t use unlicensed support staff to provide your treatment we believe that you will get better faster, which will equate to less money out of your pocket and more time for you to focus on what is important to you.
Did you know you are not required to see your primary physician before seeing a physical therapist! We are now able to evaluate you, determine if you need physical therapy, and implement a treatment program…ALL without a referral!
